The PCP is led by Malcolm Scerri Ferrante, who has over 30 years of experience in the international film and TV commercial industry. Malcolm has worked across multiple countries, bringing a wealth of global insight to every project. He served on the Film Advisory Board of Malta and later helped shaped the nation’s first film incentive schemes. Between 1998 to 2000, he was also Production Manager of the world-renowned water SFX facility, then known as Mediterranean Film Studios.

Financial Incentives
Malta offers one of the most generous financial incentives in the world because the maximum figure of 40% includes substantial foreign expenditure as elligible expenses. Furthermore, it is a cash rebate as opposed to a tax credit.
Like many generous incentives, there are conditions to abide to, such as the hiring of a minimum number of local residents in most departments.
