Standard Equipment

Standard camera, light and grip packages can be sourced either from Malta or the European mainland depending on the type of equipment, the scale of the production and any other productions shooting simultaneously on the island. The reality is that professional top-end film equipment in Malta is limited and there is generally not enough to fully service more than one international production at best.  However daily flights exist from nearby European cities and attractive packages can be achieved.

Specialized Equipment - for everything above water

The PCP is proudly amalgamated with some of the best technicians and equipment houses in Europe. Having on set a versatile system and maximizing creative solutions is of paramount importance for us.

One system allows a stabilized camera to be switched for example between a dolly or steadicam or traveling vehicle or drone within seconds.

Expensive Russian Arms and time consuming rail systems can often be replaced with a cost effective stabilized rig, drone  or remote controlled car that offers more functions whilst also securing the highest quality shots.

New systems are adopted according to the unique demands of the shoot. Here a Nokia-Ozo 360 degrees camera is attached to a rig.

Everything underwater

We have extensive experience working on underwater shoots at sea or in water tanks.  We work with only the best underwater teams, of which there is really only a handful in Europe.

For underwater shoots we believe in adopting the most versatile, efficient and cost-effective methods .

Through our associates we can supply housings that can go as deep as 100m. The housings are for Alexa SXT, Alexa Mini, Amira, Phantom Flex and Red Weapon. They accept master primes, ultra primes and light weight zooms and select anamorphic lenses. Transport is light and can be checked-in on a regular flight.

Everything in the air

The choices of drones vary from 2k up to 5k, carrying a wide range of cameras ranging from Go Pros to the heavy Phantom. Insurance comes with most drone deals so producers do not need to worry about the hassles of insuring the drone or third parties.

Some technical highlights:

Multiple safety features such as dual batteries, multi-frequencies etc
Multi-precise movements to simulate all conventional grip equipment
Flying time with Alexa Mini is up to 12 minutes
Quick change of batteries within one minute
Top and Bottom camera mount
Speeds up to 110 kph
Maximum camera payload: 7kg fully stablised
